Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps individuals improve their independence performing daily activities within family, work and community life. OT incorporates meaningful activities with specific goals to help people of all ages prevent, lessen, or adapt to disabilities.

Common conditions addressed are: carpal tunnel syndrome, stroke, hand/upper extremity injuries and wrist fractures.

Treatment Sessions can include but not limited to:

ADL Re-Training (daily activities)

Upper Body Range of Motion

Upper Body Strengthening

Dynamic Balance

Coordination

Hand/finger Dexterity

Adaptive Equipment Training

DME Recommendations (in-home)

Develop Home Exercise Program

Paraffin wax bath
